To Whom it May Concern:
This letter is written to provide a recommendation for Brad McCaslin and McCaslin
Consulting. I have had the pleasure of working with McCaslin Consulting on several
of Goshen County School District #1's capital construction projects. In my role as
district business and facilities manager I have worked closely with Mr. McCaslin on
Mr. McCaslin first contracted with GCSD #1 as the project manager for a new 44,000
square foot K-2 elementary school which the district was constructing. He attended
weekly construction meetings and was continually on site monitoring all aspects of
construction and providing the school district with a reliable qualified construction
representative. He also was the district's representative for punch-list and warranty
walk-throughs and any correspondence between the architect and general contractor.
Not only did McCaslin Consulting save the district an enormous amount of time but
the expertise by his company was not something the school district could replicate
with internal personnel.
McCaslin Consulting recently contracted with GCSD #1 to provide project manage-
ment services for the district's new 68,000 square foot middle school and new district
running track. Mr. McCaslin has been involved in these projects from design forward
through the beginning stages of construction and will continue to be involved through
the end of the warranty work. The district also contracted with McCaslin Consulting
to provide management for its Summer 2007 Major Maintenance projects.
Again, the expertise and services provided by McCaslin Consulting has been
first-rate and GCSD #1 will not hesitate to contract with McCaslin Consulting for
its future construction projects. I look forward to continuing the relationship which
GCSD #1 has with Mr. McCaslin and McCaslin Consulting and would highly
recommend his company for any capital or minor construction projects you may be

To Whom It May Concern:
I welcome the opportunity to write a letter of recommendation for Brad McCaslin. As
Superintendent of Goshen County School District #1, I have had the opportunity to work
with Brad on our school construction projects. Brad is the Owner's Representative with
the Lincoln Elementary project.
Lincoln is a 43,600 sq. ft. elementary school project, and the construction costs are
$7,500,000. As the district's owner representative, Brad maintains good working
relationships with the construction superintendent, architects, sub-contractors, school
principal, district maintenance, and district administration. In addition to this long list of
stakeholders, Brad has the task of working with staff members from the Wyoming School
Facilities Commission. He manages to juggle all of these personalities and tasks with a
great deal of finesse.
Brad and I meet on a weekly basis and talk about schedules, problems, and overall
progress of the project. I am always impressed with his commitment to find the best
solution for the district. He takes the initiative to trouble-shoot situations; he does not
wait to be assigned tasks, and he is skilled and knowledgeable in construction jobs. Brad
is open and honest, and he has built a trusting relationship with the district, the architect,
the contractors, and the School Facilities Commission.
Brad is a hard-working, intelligent young man who has excellent skills to help school
districts with their building needs. The bottom line is that he is top-notch. Please contact
me if you have questions.
